With the Reiki Kids program being a great success, I was beginning to get requests to teach children even younger. I wasn’t sure how that was going to evolve but soon the little ones began showing up in my life and I realized that they too needed this connection. The program was simplified a little and I scheduled my First Reiki Toddlers class. What fun that was!
With the Reiki Toddlers I ask that moms stayed with them. I have found that you need lots of helping hands with these active three to five year olds. With this age group the morning is their best time for concentration and so the class starts in the morning and ends by early afternoon.
These little ones gave me a totally new perspective on how to teach Reiki to children. It is a lot faster moving and the program needed to be shorter. There is a lot of ‘stepping back and allowing’ in this workshop. Believe me when I say that anything can happen! To have two five year olds talking about the colours in my third eye and have them converse about it’s location, what it was doing and how it looked was pure magic for me!
